I WANT TO DREAM
2015 | 48 inches x 72 inches
Blackboard paint on wood panel. For the duration of the exhibition, the artist asked Colette Gallery patrons to write their dreams in chalk on the work and then every morning it was wiped clean, conceptually reminding us how fleeting our dreams can be. This work in particular took on a much different meaning after the Paris attacks which occurred five days before the exhibition opening.
